it was very good 3 days, would happily return. property was perfect, with amicable staff and perfect location on driving in the establishment looks mildly dated. views of the mountains were stunning, the room was extremely pleasant and brand-new. a bathtub was big and everything was very comfortable.

The location of the hotel was convenient as it was easy to find. The rooms were quiet and warm, which made for a comfortable stay. the facilities appeared clean overall.

The furniture was dated and dirty, with other people's socks found under the sofa. The dishwashing facilities were also unclean, with worn and dirty equipment provided.

The rooms were large and spacious, great value for money!

Clean sheets and towels, and the young man in the office was pleasant. Convenient location close to restaurants and walking distance to the water.

I stayed at Merino Villa 1 in Christchurch and enjoyed the beautiful garden view from the terrace. It was a 4-bedroom venue and I had a great time.

That the mosquitoes seemed to enjoy the garden view too.

Good reasonably clean well priced unit

I recently stayed at the Willowbank Motel for two nights on a leisure trip. The room I got was clean and tidy, with all the expected facilities such as a private toilet/shower, a microwave, a fridge, and tea/coffee making facilities. The spaciousness of the room was a pleasant surprise, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Additionally, the friendly reception upon arrival and the helpfulness of the Asian receptionist made my stay even more enjoyable. The owner was also super accommodating. a great stay at a bargain price.

Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

The setting was good and magnificent, right by the South Island. It also was very close to the town's center. An apartment with a scenic view of the mountains, had requested this in advance. The bed was very comfy and I had a separate bathroom.

Friendly welcome and clean, well-equipped unit. Great lighting and plugs throughout. Staff were kind to children. Shuttle from railway station provided. Cute playground. Adequate, older room with fully stocked kitchen. Spacious with love seat and table area. Extensive kitchenette with table and chairs. Comfortable bed and pillows. Big TV with Netflix and Prime. Perfect for those with a car. Super owner. Easy access shower. Comfortable and lovely sheets. Well-equipped and clean kitchen. No previous occupier smell. Pleasant host.

Studio apartment was nicely decorated and air-conditioned. There were a microwave, an electric kettle, and fridges upon arrival. It was close to Whale Watch in time and trucks going down the main road, handy and exceptionally nice location overall. Besides, Kaikoura Beach was 2 km away from the property.
